My claim to fame is that I was brought up in
Abbey Road,
London, opposite the Beatles Recording Studio. I was nearly run over crossing at that zebra crossing! Those cars never stopped for me like they did the Beatles!
Over to work now, the aim of CSIF is to connect or bridge our clients, suppliers and buyers, together, and to optimize that connection.
Don't worry I hear you: "Sounds quite good but what does that mean?"
We achieve this by making what we call 'Intelligent Connections' (IC). IC for us means: to facilitate import export on a global level by connecting the right buyers with the right suppliers; to provide accurate information to our buyers about our suppliers and vice versa; and, to help our clients to understand each other and create win win business solutions.
If we look at the basic supply chain for just a moment then we have 'Production', 'Manufacturing and Production', 'Packaging', 'Distribution', 'Retail' and 'Consumption'. CSIF operates right in the centre of this chain and it is rather like a mathematical equation, or a balance sheet, the two sides should be a perfect match... We are that import export link with import on the one side and export on the other. Creating this match involves CSIFS at both a strategic and a tactical level.
Our existing clientele includes a number of very well-established brands and trading partners, most of whom are based within the European Union. Many of our suppliers see us as their import export department, and many of our buying clients see us as their procurement purchasing office.
When we operate outside the EU we tend to use a trading partner or associate who have very strong connections and are up to date with the relevant cultural, business and legal norms of the importing or exporting country that we are dealing with. This additional 'mechanism' ensures that everything runs smoothly and when importing it means we receive quality imports without hidden surprises!
